Ghosts and Hauntings in Killeen

So far, I know if only one place which I have heard is allegedly haunted here in Killeen, Texas. It is the Hastings Books and CD's Store, formerly a Randall's Food Store. The presence of the ghost was felt by many managers that there was a ghost roaming the managers office and the store aisles. This ghost would knock off magazines from the check stands onto the floor. Also, it was seen that the ghost would make pyramids by food cans on the aisles. There was also a door leading to the catwalk of the store in the managers office, late at night many times you would feel a cold chill and wind blow papers off the desk.

The girlfriend of my brother Bryan says that there are possibly other places here in Killeen which are allegedly haunted and I would like to find out what they are so that I can go and possibly investigate them.

I went by Hastings the other day and came in contact with one of the clerks there who told me where some opf the hauntings have been manifesting themselves. Not surprisingly, they happen around the Paranormal section, or so I was told. I am still searching for places in KIlleen that have a reputation of being haunted. Hopefully, I can find some other places which I can gain easy access to.

My brother Bryan's girlfriend sems to know a lot about some haunted places here in Killeen. Right now, Bryan and his lady are on their way to Louisianna so they can do some gambling and .....some other things.

Right now they're in Nacogdoches, Texas which is supposedly the oldest town in Texas.

Some of us here are just beginning to get in to ghost hunting, cemetary/other area image capture and analysis, EVPs etc.

Cool! I used to teach 19 Delta MOSQ at Hood. I also had a family reunion just west of there in Lampasas County. Have you heard any of the strange stories about Manning Mountain?

Hey CK and cavscout, I heard that the soccer field in Harker Heights is supposed to be haunted by indian ghosts. It's the one next to the water treatment plant. I read a story about it somewhere. I'll try to post the link for you.

Platte Canyon High School in Bailey, Colorado, was the recent scene of a hostage situation involving several young girls and molestation. One of the girls was killed and the "perp" then committed suicide.

There has been a legend at that same school for years that one of the gyms is haunted by the spirit of a teacher who raped a female student and then hung himself in the attic above the gym. Footsteps are heard overhead and strange articles appear in the middle of the gym floor after it has been cleaned according to a custodian.

It would be interesting to research the alleged first suicide incident to see if there is any truth to the story. The item was near the top of the Google search results for that high school, Platte Canyon, but after the recent tragedy I couldn't find it again among all of the gazillions of other reports that have been added.

I have heard that Maxdale Dam is haunted by children of a bus accident during a flood. Also I have heard that Brookhaven Intermediate by a woman called Big Bertha.
