It is hard to say for sure, but probably so. If so however, he was quite good.

Real or not...well, that in it's self says it for me. Researching JT open my eyes to a lot of subjects I would not have probably thought of looking into...in a round about sorta way. The person has my respect. What humor in all this is those that see it in one way and others that see it, I feel using the right frame of mind. Yet the point I'm making is really...there isn't that much humor beyond the delivery...after that, one has to really work hard to understand what the delivery is. Not sure I've even figured it all out, even from my gut feelings i'm just not sure what to do next or what we are to do next beyond the obvious part. So, I began to ground out. Take some time off of my research and re - group. I could care less what people out there may think of my enteries about him/her...all I know is I've learned alot. For those out there wondering what I learned (Not directed toward you CB)...please try putting some elbow grease into it before you ask. CB has, otherwise he wouldn't be throwing out this feeler.

how many of you expolers think john titor is a huckster

I have personally believed for many years now that either

(A) Art Bell was John Titor
(B) Art Bell knew or knows who John Titor is /was
(C) It is someone connected with Art Bell.

(D) None of the above, but still a hoax.

I will never believe in a "Time Traveler" that comes back into the past and actually posts on a forum, or searches for outdated technology to power his time machine. There were many things Titor said that have been proven false.

Why would I suggest Art Bell was a part of it? In 1998 Art Bell supposedly received a Fax from John Titor.

1. The faxes were sent to Art Bell's radio show.
2. They were read out on air by Art Bell.

Art Bell is a showman and only a showman - it is his job to entertain people, doing so creates a huge reaction and thus the Coast program gains a larger base of listeners. That is one thing Art has that Noory does not - a story telling ability and he could make people believe it.
