    Streaming radio

I Did not get a chance to check all these out .

No matter how many times I have uninstalled fox fire , deleted its files, reinstall fox fire , reinstalled multiple flash players . I have not been able to get fox fire to play media players so I have to use Internet explorer .

So all these links work on the Microsoft Internet explorer .

if anybody had the same fox fire problem and resolved it , please tell me how . I hate Internet explorer

They all have listen now , listen live buttons .

Anything that asked me to login , signed up , give my life away , I rejected . So if you find a link that does so please ask Alpha to edit the link out . I am not allowed to edit my posts and no one will tell me why.

Some of these use your computer media player , some give you a choice .

So far I have been able to go through Alaska to Florida . Later on I will be adding more links .

    Hi Hadriana

I don't know about the Euro link, but I did find an AM station that archives the last 7 days of their broadcasts... Including C2C . It is a San Francisco station, and you have to download one hour at a time, so look for 10:00 pm, 11:00 pm, 12:00 am (following day), 1:00 am (following day). I D/L those shows that I miss and listen when I can. I guess I am not pirating the shows since the station makes them available and you get the commercials too so their sponsors should still be happy .

Click on the "7 day archive" link, choose day, format & time and get C2C direct on your hard drive. Cool .

kfgo is another link, but let me caution you there output is so good, you might hear a slight echo. Unbelievable stereo at me end this morning. KLBJ had a major glitch forcing me to use the streaming access.

We finally have WiFi in the house and I can't seem to find Coast on an Internet stream- do they not allow affiliates to stream it because they sell Streamlink?

I live and work near the Redmond M.S. campus, and have friends and clients who are well placed within the organization, and I almost hate to tell you this common misconception about FireFox and IE.

You cannot run FF without IE. Why? Because FF is based on top of the IE code. Hence FF is IE, just repackaged. Your better off swallowing your pride and prejudice and keep IE.

Uh, I have no idea why you can't edit your posts, I know that after a certain amount of time I can't edit my posts... It's gotta be a rule or setting or something. Anyway, my local affiliate radio station that plays Coast won't let me stream during Coast, I have to get it with streamlink. If there are any other streams that work, neato.

As for fox fire not working, well... it's Firefox first of all, and it sounds like you are on windows, so, completely uninstall firefox, delete the whole frakin thing, reboot, then install the newest version, after downloading. Then install the media plugins it needs. My firefox works just fine on both windows and linux. Also, if that utterly fails, switch to some other browser, please, for the love of all things good and righteous, stop using IE!

There are a number of awesome web browsers, such as, ahem, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Opera, and a few more I seem to be forgetting. I'm sure someone has a better memory than I do. Or just get onto download.com and search for browsers, or do an internet search, or something. There are far better browsers than IE, I swear to God that IE will absolutely murder your PC, you MUST stop using it, ASAP!

So, anyway, I'm paid up for another year with streamlink, might as well use it. I'm a pirate according to some people, but I don't like being called a pirate, or calling myself a pirate. Unless I'm having some fun with it, running around going Arrrr.

    Have fun guys.

You know I'm just kidding right? I don't really want you to rot in a pile of stinky banana peals. That's gross. But, I may slap you silly with a large wet trout if you ever say such things again. Ok, not really, but I'll be thinking it.

I'm sure you don't, but rest assured that the other browsers you mention are all built upon the IE platform if you are running a MS based OS. There is nothing wrong with that construct, if you like someone elses version of browser, then by all means, use it. They do behave strangely though when interacting with all the MS based software web systems.

I think you are either pulling my leg, laughing your glowing blue butt off at me, as I'm getting all steamed up, or, you really are extremely ignorant about browsers. In any case, I'm using Ubuntu Linux with several different browsers, including Firefox, Opera, and a couple others.

I absolutely disagree with you, and I have never won a single argument with anyone about anything, so why should this be any different. I hereby slap you silly with a large wet trout, virtually of course, you silly silly blue man!

Ok, I know this subject of browsers is basically done and over with, but I've been told by outside observers that I'm being rude and mean. *sigh* Fine, I'm sorry, ok, gosh dangit! Here is the last thing I'm going to say about this, I swear, the very last post about it on this whole forum.

Read up on the History of Browsers, ok, like here http://www.livinginternet.com/w/wi_browse.htm or on wikipedia. You will find that Mozilla came BEFORE IE, and the IE borrowed it's most important stuff from the Mosaic browser.

Here is a big clue as to whether or not you are using an IE based browser on windows, which is basically just a dressed up pretty interface for IE, try installing the newest version of that browser while running an OLD version of IE. If it gives you grief and tells you to install a specific version of IE for it to be able to install itself, you have an IE based browser. Here is another clue, if the Favorites/bookmarks are stored in the Start Menu as .lnk files, just like on IE, you have an IE based browser. Examples of IE based browsers include the browser built into the Juno email program that you download and do offline email stuff with on the computer, Maxthon, Avant Browser, Crazy Browser, PhaseOut, and Deepnet Explorer, and even Steam's integrated web browser.

If, on the other hand, the browser you are installing on the system, like Opera, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, couldn't give a which version of IE is running on your computer, then you are most definitely NOT using some dressed up pretty interface for IE. The core engine behind Mozilla Firefox is the Open Source version of the Netscape engine, and has nothing at all to do with IE. Netscape came before IE. IE is a piece of that lets all kinds of viruses and malware onto the system, which the other non-IE browsers I mentioned do NOT let into the system.

How do I know? I'm not a genius, I'm more like an idiot savant . When it comes to computers I'm a freakin savant, I graduated with Honors from High Tech Institute with an Associates Degree, from the Computer Networking and Information Technology course. I don't care what crap your friends at Micro$oft are spewing, they have every reason to spread lies about everything that Micro$oft has been competing with for the attention of the general masses.

Micro$oft is deathly afraid that software developed in the Open Source community, and by other software companies, will overtake them and smother them, just like they smothered other companies in their rise to market dominance.

If I can help it, at all, I will never use Micro$oft software for anything at all, and even if I have to use it, I sure as won't be paying for it. Screw M$, those lying, thieving, cheating, !!

If you persist in your belief that all browsers on windows are just dressed up interfaces for IE, then go drive a Ford Model T, since ALL cars are built on the Model T, so you should just go drive that instead.

And that is the last I'm going to say about that, I'm done ranting and raving like a mad lunatic. I might be affected by the moon, I dunno, but I've been going nuts over this and I have to freakin get past it. *pant pant pant* Gosh dangit, I can't breath *gasp gasp* Man, I want to be taken away by an alien, oh please, please take me away from this insane planet!

Ok, no more fighting, stick me with a fork, I'm done.
