Thanks for this post and the other one down the line at Jim's place. The CC there, or the pictogram, is said to be in 3-D again. It does show a curvature of the subject we all call planet earth,........oops! Capital letters.....Earth! Our Planet Home, spinning and drifting, in the blackness of our living hopefulness, for a peaceful future for all living things.

..........with a bullseye dead center? It's the second pictogram in the UK in 3-D again! Maybe Linda will mention this phenom in cereal crops this Friday night the first hour. I lay down 10-1 odds she won't say a word about these new ones. She did not mention the 3-D UK crop art from July 2006 on her 8 appearences on Coast since that time. Of course it's radio and not tv. So describing them on the air would be a major challenge. In the understanding abilities for any listening skeptic of crop circles.

Looks as if Mark Cuban has a few aliens designing crop circles.

Message sent, did you recieve? And we have no way of talking back to date. Or would the hoaxers laugh at that idea over a beer in the local pub? The AT&T ringed look on the first one linked (there were two found at that time) is definitly like micro-waved communications.

If you passed thru the ccc site the first one in the UK was interconnected rings two in number. It was not in the 3-D effect.

The Star does have a dough boy effect in 3-D. If the designer had to make the rings like a target in a star shape. For the dimensional draft to be right I think it had to be this way with the pudgey like edges.

The barley was very short and they thought that was a bit odd. Why the hurry to make this one? Why not let the cereal crop grow up taller? Just some questions this wee AM, Topper.

In the US last year soybeans were chosen in their green growing stage. If the maker was to wait until the soybean's leaves fell to the ground. The forcefuly laid down stalks would not be a good choice for circles.

Who is Mark Cuban? A newsman who covers Canadian crop circles? Canada had four found last year. All spaced nicely across the southern most provinces.

Mark Cuban is a pretty famous basketball team owner of the Dallas Mavericks. Made a lot of money in that dot com bizz and now putting a lot into HD TV and HD Net.

Well, I guess I'll wait around for the next UK crop circle. I'll ask blackeyes to place it in Crop Circles.

Still again it can be guessed at about last years work in 3-D. Not only did it amaze UK & all crop circle enthusiasts. The 8 captured on film were of an explosive nature. Seems kind of odd for all to be the same theme.

Wroughton Mathematicians are perplexed after a highly complex crop circle appeared in a Wiltshire field - depicting a fundamental mathematical symbol.


The circle is, apparently, a coded image representing a complex mathematical number — the first ten digits of pi — and even astrophysicists admit they find it “mind-boggling”.


The circular pattern was created in a barley field near Barbury Castle, an Iron Age hill fort, earlier this month.


Measuring around 46m (150ft) in diameter, it has had crop circle enthusiasts and experts stumped.


The symbol was identified eventually by Mike Reed, a retired astrophysicist who contacted Lucy Pringle, a crop circle photographer and expert, with an explanation.


Maths codes and geometric patterns have long been an important factor in crop circle formations — one of the most famous formations ever created showed the image of a complex set of fractals known as The Julia Set, in a field near Stonehenge, 12 years ago.


Lucy Pringle, who researches the effects of electromagnetic fields on living systems and crop formations and has the largest database of crop circles in the world said of the phenomenon: “This is an astounding development — it is a seminal event.”

you know what makes me laugh ? some poeple think other poeple have the time and resorses to make these as hoax circles .

There will always be hoaxers - there a few who have filmed the making of a crop circle in Wiltshire but then again, I still think hoaxers take the credit for genuine ones!! Anything to convince us that all circles are man made.

I recall one story from an RAF pilot who flew over a field and swore nothing was there but upon his return about 12 minutes later, a rather large and elaborate crop circle had appeared. It was impossible not to notice so he was sure it was not man made - it was way too complex to have been made in such a short space of time.
