Is China Out to Get Us?

FDA warned consumers to avoid using tubes of toothpaste labeled as "Made
in China". The warning and an import alert were issued to prevent
toothpaste containing a poisonous chemical, diethylene glycol (DEG) from
entering the United States from China. The substance is used in
antifreeze and as a solvent.

It's bad enough having to use things 'made in China' that are inanimate, but I refuse,...absolutely refuse, to put anything into my body that comes from China!!! But then again, how can we tell what may be in our food or or anything else, that does indeed come from that backward, corrupt, American-hating country??? The problem isn't China. The problem is our own country, and our own politicians that are doing nothing, NOTHING to protect us. Washington is full of dead-heads who are so corrupt they don't give a damn about us.

You know... Chinese culture is such that they can wait for things. They are in no hurry. They are willing to sit back and slowly wait for us to distroy ourselves, then if they want to go after us, there is the least resistance. They also don't have a problem in putting the off-run and byproducts of their manufacturing in our goods as a way to get them out of their country.

That's exactly what the problem is....just wait until this filters down to produce....it's already in consumer food products, yet no-one seems to want to touch that!!

I don't think China is out to get us. After all, we are their biggest consumer. Every piece of junk we buy is almost certainly made there and distributed through China, I mean Wal-Mart.

The problem is, they want to maximize profits, and at the same time get rid of the masses of industrial chemicals they are producing as by products.

On the other hand, I think Russia is out to get us. They have much more money now, and have surpassed even Saudi Arabia in oil production. We are also not consumers of Russian made goods. Go to China-Mart and find something that is made in any of the former USSR. It is not there, so we are not important to them besides our fading status as a "Superpower"! JMHO
