    Save The Utah Miners

I am not psychic but a lot of people claim they are. I don't think it's for real at this point. If there is anyone out there who believes they are gifted could you please try and help the Utah Miners. It doesn't appear that the rescuers even know where to look. I saw an offer at http://www.thefinalchallenge.com. They are offfering a reward to anyone who can predict the outcome. More importantly they will give $1,000,000.00 to the families. If anyone can help they should.

I have been thinking of the miners ever since it happened. I have been hoping they would be found. There must have been a lot of positive energy going their way by millions of people. I am so sad that they have had to stop the rescue effort. I will continue to hope for them.

This is really one of the saddest things we've watched in a long time. The families....the waiting. The families. My prayers to them.

I agree. My prayers go out to the families as well. The town of Huntington Utah has been changed forever.

I agree that it is a real tragedy, especially after the new incident yesterday. I don't know many of the particulars in the story but my aunt seems to think that the mine owner comes off looking very shady.

Despite all the good wishes and prayers, I sadly feel that their time has run out.

My good thoughts and prayers go out to those brave men, the one's who helped or tried to help them and met their own end in the process and the families that grieve for the lost loved ones

I really hope that the first group of miners went quickly. I can imagine nothing worse than them being trapped down there waiting and waiting. My prayers and thoughts are with them, the rescuers and their families. What a sad, sad thing to have happened.

I hope it was fast for the six, that they just felt sleepy early on without too much time to consider their possible fate. My God.

Safety is a hypocrital state of affairs within industry. Money comes first. I witnessed this many times while working in the logging industry. Currently, over 7000 loggers are on strike here in BC over safety. The corporations want the option of dictating that employees work different shifts. Loggers have always worked the usual 8 to 5, Monday to Friday schedule. This change could mean that they may have to work 16 hours per day for 4 days and then take 6 days off or some such schedule. Forest industry employee numbers have significantly decreased over the last few years. This is due to technology and environmental laws that have resulted in less logging but the number of fatalities have increased. What does that tell us? Three years ago they promised to investigate this situation. Now, they are insisting on increasing the risk of fatalities by having forest industry workers toil at night doing double shifts.

People are robotic ants in this day and age. Everything our forefathers fought long and hard for is going to hell in a handbasket.

I'm not sure how this turned into a political discussion. Has anyone sent a prediction?

Apparently none of us thinks that she/he is psychic. We expressed our deep concern and sadness. Were you looking for a "prediction" of whether they were dead or alive, as in who is going to win the ball game on Sunday? Maybe a wager?

    ?

I thought somebody else here, perhaps in another thread, had mentioned that they had a bad feeling about the miners when it first happened. I remember thinking the same thing. That's as close as I can come to predicting the outcome.
