Personally I would love to have Art back once again. The problem with Art is that he's a lot like a see-saw. He is retired, comes back, retires, comes back and you never know how long he will last the next time around.
I don't listen much any more as I can't get into Noory and his simplistic interview style.

I would have to vote for John B. Wells or George Knapp as the permanent host.

I went with Punnett, since he does a good job with keeping the show interesting like George Noory does. At least, that's just a personal opinion, but I feel that they both click really well at hosting the show.

I gotta go with John B. He's been doing great the last couple of times hosting the show. Brings some of the old magic back.

I'm with you Dakota. Yes! He is very good in my opinion. I wish John B. had both - all - weekend nights permanently!

Doesn't seem to do us any good for voting and wishing, however.

Oops! I take that back. I mean we still need Knaap, but John B. should do all the rest of the weekend stuff.

i would like John B. and George K to alternate weekends....that might allow for a new weekend format, that allows for deeper coverage of topics that are important...

I loved Rob Simone when he filled in for Noory during the burnt mouth debacle. I can not stand politically right-winged mud-slinging shows such as those that John Well too often has going. This is not in keeping with the spirit of the program as Art Bell created C2C to be. I fear that so many listeners discovered C2C while listening to those insulting straw man arguments, and so, love John Wells, Alex Jones, and others of this habitual degrading methodology, who put down highly talented intellectuals. Recently, John Wells presented us listeners with yet another tirade night. When I emailed him to tell him that calling non-white entertainers "Scumbags" for their acts or for supporting our President Obama, he hurled more insults at me in his reply! Those who were called "Scumbags" by his guest were: Jay Z, Beyonce, Rihanna. Granted, I do agree with other guests who have made mention of the lack of any real talent and song creation that hits those higher levels we of the 60s and 70s grew accustomed to, or were a part of, but, the word choices were much less hostile and dehumanizing. When I heard those insults, i felt threatening, as though the guest and the host so devalued the human being that they viewed them as less than garbage, worthy of being eradicated, as a "Scumbag" is a very disposable thing. Are r these guys RACIST, by any chance? Reducing oneself to wallowing in the same mud they so enjoy is not my way.
The most ignorant among us seem to give themselves more credit is some odd way so that they can determine the lives of other humans and sentient beings, and control others, condemn and harm, make judgements, as though this is somehow displaying their superiority over the remaining populace, and animals, environment.... Humility I usually see reserved for those who are absolutely amazing in talent, intellect, compassion, spiritual experience, (the truly superior qualities humans should strive toward obtaining) while self-righteous, arrogant entitlement is reserved for the ignorant unqualified power-seeking sub class.
Reducing oneself to wallowing in the same mud they so enjoy is not the way of those who value the diamonds they have long ago uncovered by removing the mud.

How I miss Art Bell. I also adore Linda Moulton Howe (a vegetarian, by the way). Also, George Knapp, Rob Simone, Ian Punnett, Whitley Strieber, are fair minded, highly intelligent people who discuss information, instead of making it a point to condemn and insult those they do not agree with. Again, those of higher intellect and ethical values tend to honor people, not insult them. I think that John Wells is popular with some listeners as they were listening to right-wing am radio when they discovered Coast to Coast. John Wells is extreme in his political views, and, like most am radio talk show hosts, excels at insulting highly intelligent people.
