The show could lighten up on the weekends, maybe have some hippies host it, and we can sit around eating shrooms while talking to them intra-dimensional entities, ghosties, aliens, deities, escaped souls, and more., and then all them "we're all so screwed" shows, such as how ET is coming to eat us or some new world order for the numbered slaves is upon us, for the week days when most are slaving for the King(s).

Very interesting show for those wingnuts among us
I think you are confusing two talks how hosts. 640 has some guy called Spaceman hosting on Saturday. I think Syrett does a similar show like C2C topics on another station on weekday nights (before C2C)

A little while back someone mentoined George having zero votes, but to be fair that option is George doing 7 days a week and I don't know too many hosts that should be doing shows 7 days a week.

Well, it's official. This was on the radio wire this morning. Forwarded without comment:

Premiere renews late-night star George Noory through 2013.

He’s pondered making an independent-candidate run for President in 2012, a la Ron Paul, but it sounds as if Premiere has him committed to hosting “Coast to Coast AM” for the next five years or so.

That news came out of Detroit this weekend, via John Smyntek’s Free Press column.

Noory tells him “Both sides are very happy [about the new contract]. We just reached a milestone and hit 500 affiliates, and we’re also on XM Satellite Radio. Ratings have never been higher.”

George succeeded founder Art Bell when Art left the weeknightly show for personal reasons. That was a dicey moment for Premiere, but Noory kept the unexplained-mysteries franchise going.

Ooops you're so right OhMyG.....640 I think used to carry them both at one point.

Gary Bell is who hosts that show:

Spaceman Gary Bell Spaceman Gary Bell is a Canadian radio broadcaster of the highly controversial "A View From Space" on 640 AM in Toronto, Ontario. The show has been on the air since 2001. Since the start of the program, Gary Bell has been kicked off the air three times, only to be reinstated. Bell was the technical producer on The Stafford Show with Mike Stafford, and shared his comments from time to time.

Like Joyce Riley and Dave vonKleist's The Power Hour, A View From Space deals with highly sensitive topics such as freemasonry, occultism, the Illuminati, religion, Knights Templars, world history, politics, and general conspiracy theories.

Isn't it a little early for April Fool stuff, VO?

Dera, I wouldn't post that as a joke. That's the quote from "The Freep" (Detroit Free Press). Makes you wonder, huh? That's why I'm not going to comment on it.

I've enjoyed George Knapp and always enjoy Ian's humor. I would however like for Whitley Strieber to make a return now and again with his Dreamland. I always enjoyed his radio shows and would like to see him mixed in on a Sunday every now and again....I'm just happy Rolleye James is no longer in the mix....wow that was bad...

This just in, it reads like a promo (press release) for George and Coast:

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...r-the-curious/

It sounds like George is really sincere when he says Coast is a barometer for the political direction of the country, but then he says things like he's going to run for president and says “I would like 'Coast to Coast' to be broadcast out of the White House", then I have to wonder if he's just pulling everybody's leg.

Maybe that is his sense of humor talking and therefore I'm missing the joke, I hope so because if not, he's more delusional than I thought. I mean who in their right mind would want the president doing a radio show when he's supposed to be running the country and paying attention to world affairs? Is being president all fun and games to him? It's like he's imagining being president with a very primitive mindset like a child plays "doctor" with toy stethoscope and reflex hammer!

The article writer also seems to be in love with George's voice, but to me George's speaking is anything but broadcaster-like, it may be deep enough, but he has a sloppy way of mouthing and pronouncing his words.

Anyway there's my two-cents on it.

While no guest host can present as fascinating a radio program as "the Master" Art Bell, I believe that Hilly Rose who was Art's first "guest host" is probably the most knowledgeable person on UFOs and the Paranormal ever to host a radio talk show. He has deep and real knowledge and insight about the subjects he covers. He currently has an internet show at http://www.fatemag.com/radio.html with free new programs available every two weeks. The programs are provided for streaming free for only a week and an older program is available the next week until it is time for another new program. Those who subscribe to "Hilly Rose All Access" can stream or download all of the 126 programs he has done so far for Fate Magazine at anytime and 30 classic programs per month he did earlier for "Sirius Radio". Of about 500 of these classic Sirius shows only 278 were ever made available at the web site so a one year membership is all that is required to download and acquire all of the available programs before they start repeating. For $14.95 it is truly a bargain.

I have noticed that Hilly is still mentioned from time to time as being one of the guest hosts at "Coast" but it has been a very long time since Hilly actually hosted one. I hope that changes soon. A weekend team of Hilly Rose and George Knapp on different nights would be great!

I went with Ian. Although his choice of guests sometimes mystifies me, his wit always seems to save the day.
