I like Knapp but lately he hasn't been very reliable. How many technical difficulties is he going to have before they get the problem fixed.
I'd enjoy Tim Binnall getting a shot at the helm !
Unless Art returns (doesn't seem promising) it is still no contest and George Knapp does the best interview. I once praised Ian, but he seems to have sort of gone far afield lately.

I think George Knapp does a sprarkling interview, but he is only on twice a month. I question if he could pull it off if he were the host on a consistent basis. This is what I would like to see in a parallel universe, one week with George Knapp Monday through Friday, George Noory's usual gig. Then, we would have a basis of comparison. Then, let George Noory for two weeks of Sunday do the one interview slot that George Knapp does.
If George Knapp's interviewing does not maintain the same fervor and George Noory's interviewiing skills increase dramatically. Then, there is a true basis for comparison. Until then I don't think you can fairly state that George Knapp is better than George Noory over time.![]()
Of the guest hosts I would have to say George Knapp is my favorite he is just strange and seems so mysterious, really adds a good sense of wonder to the show.
I would say Ian Punnet but he seems to be very biased to his own opinions and does not give the guests the benefit of the doubt like George does

I really enjoy George Knapp as well. I wish he would take the chair more often than twice a month.

I must say, if there can be any favorites, a straight line ranking would not, could not convey my favorites -- more like concentricity to superlative excellence than a single straight line. Art, of course is at or close to that excellence, though I have heard some great hosts, recently and long ago, and I think some of the guests would make, for sure, the "Best" rating if they were a regular host on weekends.
I really like George Knapp. He seems to have great fun, is enthusiastic about the guests and topics, and articulate with each, for the most part.
I've heard him only once, though I realllly liked the debut -- a few months ago -- of that guest host from Canadian radio, I think it was, don't remember his name, was that John Wells? Whatever his name, I really liked him a lot, although I heard him only once.

George Knapp..very informative, and entertaining...he's the best
It's a toss up between Ian and Knapp. I appreciate how both challenge and "probe" guests to really back up their statements. Ian's a bit more boisterous on that front, as we all know. But it makes for an entertaining listen.
