I'm always a little apprehensive about posting stuff like this, but this was forwarded to me by a friend in the newsroom who thought it was interesting. It's a map of the world, and where the trouble is at during any given moment.

The reason I don't like to forward this on is that I believe we all have enough reason to be uneased, so we don't need maps and news services to be telling us what to be worried about.

Guess my question if according to whom, their definition.....

Are we being "terrorized" and always have been....always been surrounded for suspicious activity....forever it seems.

After working in this media for nearly 40 years. I've come to these conclusions.

1. We were never as informed as we are now.
2. We never had as many people doing bad things as now.
3. We never had the technology to enable bad people to do things as now.
4. We have never had so many people in authority, who want the job but can't perform the work. (ie: deal with the bad people).
5. For the most part, the public is comfortable with the way things are unless it comes to their neighborhood ... at which point they will want the guy in authority to take care of it for them, or compensation for their agony.
