Verrry interesting, SquidInk.. I had no idea that helium was a natural component of natural gas.

Well, no more helium should put an end to some of those UFO ... err I mean party balloon .. party balloon reports.

Wonder what's really up with this??

LHC restart delayed again until September

The Large Hadron Collider could be restarted at the end of September--a year after the world's largest particle accelerator was knocked off line by an electrical malfunction.

LHC operations were suspended last September after a transformer malfunction in its cooling system allowed a helium leak--just nine days after the controversial project became operational. An investigation concluded that the malfunction was caused by a faulty electrical connection between two of the accelerator's magnets.

As a result, the 53 magnets used to accelerate sub-atomic particles around the machine's 17-mile underground tunnel had to be cleaned or repaired. At the time, the repair costs for the $5 billion LHC were expected to top $16 million.

The European Organization for Nuclear Research, or CERN, the organization that built the LHC, announced Monday that it expects the first beams to begin in September, with the first collisions expected by late October.

Now this is interesting.......nothing, coincidence, warning, intervention or?

UFO sightings connected to Large Hadron Collider experiment?

MORE responses to sightings of 'orange lights' UFOs near Louth have been pouring into the Leader – with some wondering if recent UFO activity is connected to the Large Hadron Collider experiment in Geneva. A man called Anthony from Wales emailed a similar account of what he saw: "I was having a cigarette outside my front door on Saturday at around 9pm and I looked over the roof tops and saw two orange-red glowing lights coming from over the hill where I live.

"I called my wife and daughter to come and have a look, then a third light followed the other two. My wife phoned her father who lives not far away and he saw them too. I then went to get my camera but by the time I got it out the lights just vanished. Not knowing what they were I decided to search the net to see if any one has seen the same as us and I came across your picture which is exactly what we saw.

"We live in a little village in Swansea and after 47 years of looking up at night this is the first UFO I have ever seen."

He added: "Could it be something to do with that experiment they are doing under ground in Geneva letting out pockets of energy or something?"

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the world's largest and most powerful particle accelerator, intended to smash protons together in the hope of learning more about the Big Bang theory. It was turned on to much international press interest last week despite some scientists calling for the experiment to be stopped, in fear it could lead to the formation of mini black holes, which could expand and swallow the Earth.

Rachel Rijsdijk emailing from The Netherlands said she also saw similar orange lights last Saturday: "On Saturday night a week ago I was driving on the highway, past a city called Eindhoven, and I saw three orange round lights high in the sky. They were not moving, but hanging in a triangle form."

Reg Lambert from Rugby emailed to tell us about his own recent experience: "I and three others saw an orange light travelling south-west to north-east over Rugby at about 8pm.

"It was travelling quite fast and was above the height of a few clouds around at an estimated height of 5000ft. A few minutes after disappearing from view it reappeared travelling in the opposite direction."

He added: "There was no flicker or variation, or colour change, and it was in a straight line."

This whole thing with CERN and what it really is about is getting more suspicious by the minute...take a look at this now!!!

What's really going on with all of this??

Not only that, but what happened to all of this?...it's October now.....
Cern physicist arrested over al-Qaida link

French police detain technician and his brother over alleged connection with north African wing of terrorist group

French police have arrested an engineer who worked at Cern, Europe's Switzerland-based nuclear research organisation, on suspicion that he had links to al-Qaida in Algeria.

One of two French-Algerian brothers, aged 25 and 32, arrested yesterday in Vienne, south-east France, was an engineer at the nuclear research centre on the French-Swiss border just outside Geneva, it emerged today.
The men were arrested on suspicion of being in close contact with al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), also known as al-Qaida's north African wing.

Le Figaro reported that the older brother who worked at Cern, famous for its particle collider that aims to recreate the conditions of the Big Bang, had been in contact with AQIM and had suggested French targets for attacks.

A judicial source confirmed that one of the brothers had been in contact with people close to the organisation but said there was no indication of a clearly established plot at this stage.

Cern issued a statement saying the man was a physicist who had worked at the centre since 2003, specialising in physics data analysis..........

God's gonna kick your butts humons, if ya'll don't knock this kind of stuff off. (lol) I can see it now, 6.666 billion Earth humons, all locked into a 60 second causality time loop, repeating that last minute over and over again, forever and ever, and knowing it is happening too, and yet still unable to stop it .. forever and ever ... just looping the last 60 seconds of your lives, forever and ever. (lol) That would be funny if they accidentally killed god with that thing, blew him up or something, vaporized him maybe .. I wonder what would happen next.

Did God stop CERN from discovering the “God particle”?
    17:48 October 13th, 2009

The great quantum physicist Niels Bohr once said a colleague’s new theory was crazy, but perhaps not crazy enough to be correct. Two scientists seem to have taken that approach to heart when they speculated that God may have shut down the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva to keep it from discovering the elusive “God particle.”

    ...

He and Masao Ninomiya of the Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics in Kyoto have suggested, as Times science writer Dennis Overbye put it, that “the hypothesized Higgs boson, which physicists hope to produce with the collider, might be so abhorrent to nature that its creation would ripple backward through time and stop the collider before it could make one, like a time traveller who goes back in time to kill his grandfather”.

This is heavy stuff, and it gets heavier.

Perhaps the Universe has a 'fail safe' when anything comes up that has the potential to destroy it.

This would be pretty cool to try. I'd die of laughter if they picked the NO-GO card, ha. Certainly there is also the possibility of an alternative reality in which the NO-GO card is picked, and yet they fire it up anyhow too. Hell, it's been a good life, I've seen enough, ha, so I say fire it up and lets see if it does something horrible.

Spooky Signals from the Future Telling Us to Cancel the LHC!
    ...
They propose a card game with more than a million cards, almost all of which say “go ahead, no problem.” But one card says “don’t turn on the LHC!” In their model, the nonlocal effect of the imaginary part of the action is to ensure that the realized history of the universe is one in which the LHC never turns on; but it doesn’t matter why it doesn’t turn on. If we randomly pick one out of a million cards, and honestly promise to follow through on the instructions on the card we pick, and we happen to pick the card that says not to turn it on, and we therefore don’t — that’s a history of the universe that is completely unsuppressed by their mechanism. And if we choose a card that says “go ahead,” well then their theory is falsified.

For scientists to actually publicly state that the failures of CERN may be attributed to time travelers from the future is something else in itself....isn't that usually tin foil hat, wingnut kind of material??!!??

This is getting very interesting......wonder what they are really up to at CERN??

    Give it up Earthlings ...

Baguette Dropped From Bird's Beak Shuts Down The Large Hadron Collider (Really)
The Large Hadron Collider, the world's most powerful particle accelerator, just cannot catch a break. First, a coolant leak destroyed some of the magnets that guide the energy beam. Then LHC officials postponed the restart of the machine to add additional safety features. Now, a bird dropping a piece of bread on a section of the accelerator has, according to the Register, shut down the whole operation.
